Legendary director, producer and founder of the cult studio Troma Lloyd Kaufman is coming to the Future Gate 2025 festival in person! The creator of bizarre, anarchic and immortally entertaining films that have inspired generations of fans and filmmakers will be presenting in Prague and Brno in October.
In Prague’s Lucerna and Aero cinemas, we will be showing four Troma gems over two evenings: the immortal classic The Toxic Avenger and the new Troma Conquers Cannes (October 4, Lucerna), and a day later the wild titles Shakespeare Shitstorm and Terror Firmer (October 5, Aero). All will be personally hosted by Kaufman himself, known for his infectious sense of humor and tireless energy.
The festival tour then continues in Brno, where a special meeting with Lloyd Kaufman and screenings of his films will take place at the Art cinema on October 8. Come to a unique event where cult, grotesque and incorrect satire meet on the big screen – in the presence of the man who created it all.
