Dear science fiction fans,
The 13th Future Gate is approaching at the speed of light. In September and October, we will offer the best sci-fi films in a unique festival atmosphere in Prague, Brno and other cities throughout the Czech Republic. The festival is expanding to other cities, with new additions in Ústí nad Labem and Boskovice.
The main festival competition will present a selection of the most interesting that contemporary world sci-fi has to offer. This year, you can also look forward to an exceptionally strong lineup of films from countries outside Europe. There will also be legends of the genre, which we will commemorate this year through festival guests and the accompanying program.
The central theme of the 13th year is geopolitics and resources in the future, which we will look at through the lens of the post-cyberpunk subgenre. We will inform you about other news throughout the summer.
