It’s here! We’re kicking off the 13th edition of the Future Gate Festival!

Today marks the start of this year’s Future Gate Festival, and with it, our sci-fi film adventure officially begins!

The programme kicks off with the Student Film Competition, followed by the first film in the main competition – the Japanese sci-fi comedy You Are the Film.

Over the coming days, you can look forward to a programme packed with legendary sci-fi blockbusters, hot new genre releases, gripping documentaries, an exciting accompanying programme, and meetings with renowned guests such as Joe Walker (Blade Runner 2049, Arrival) and Nicholas Meyer (Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan).
