Few directors deserve to be called a genre legend as much as Paul Verhoeven. During his rich career, he was behind titles such as Starship Troppers and Total Recall, which were shown at previous years of the festival, or the dystopian drama RoboCop. An exclusive online Q&A will take place after the screening of the latter on Thursday, October 2. For his indelible contributions to the science fiction genre, the Dutch filmmaker will be awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is created annually for the festival by the PRUSA Lab studio.
